1940's Screen Worn Randolph Scott Coat. Cut in a 1860's style. Two button front with a sort of tails, but instead of them being rounded they are tailored straight across. Rust colored Houndstooth wool plaid material. Rayon like lining. There is no tag it but an ink stamp towards the middle of the back..
When we bought this it was in a pile of vintage clothing. When it got here I noticed you could see what looked like a partial costume tag sewn under the shoulder area lining. So took a razor blade to the seam and we were pretty shocked to see what name was on the Western Costume tag.
Have tried to research which movie but have to admit my short attention span does not do well with it. There is a still from Belle Starr where it looks like he is wearing a
similar
coat ( we have attached the still).
The measurements are as follows:
shoulder to shoulder - 19 inches
armpit to armpit - 20 inches
sleeve length - 24 inches
top of collar to bottom seam - 38/39 inches
Has been worn and there are some seam separations in the lining, but overall great shape. Cool piece worn by one of the best Western actors ever........
We only ship via Priority mail in in the US and out side the US it is done only by Global / International Priority mail. We offer no other options.
