18thC Limbach Thuringia Porcelain Puce Scenic Saucer Porzellan Untertasse Scene

For sale is
a saucer made by Limbach around 1780 . Limbach was founded in 1762 and made porcelain until about 1850. This saucer has a hand painted scene in puce of a church in a landscape surrounding with four little flowers/leaves around the scene and a gold trim to the edge. The saucer is in great condition with the gold trim being a bit dull in places. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed L mark with a star underneath meant to imitate the mark of their more famous competition. Also an incised mark neat the foot like a 1. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5.25 inches in diameter. 18th century German Germany Szene Unterteller antique
