During changes scene from dark to bright, the eye pupil react to the changes of light intensity and within 5 seconds decreases diameter over twice for protection of your eye. When the scene changes from bright to dark, your pupil need increase diameter up to 180 seconds for clear vision in the dark. In every movie, scenes switches from dark to bright hundreds of times. The result is that the muscles of your eyes are in constant tension which can lead to vision problems.
After you receive the kit, you need stick the LED strips on the screen's backside and plug the power adapter and USB cable to the main controller. You will receive adhesive elements to help you arrange the strips and cables. Cables from LED strips have RJ jacks, which and it really makes arranging them easy without making "spaghetti" of the cables. You can freely adjust the strip's positions in the software (the most frequently-used mounting option is placing two strips on each side and three on the top and bottom part of the screen).
AmbiBox works in HID mode so you do not need any drivers!
SOFTWARE, FIRMWARE & MANUALS
You need to install the software suitable for your operating system, which you will find on our website, along with all the manuals.
After installing the software, you will see the screen in the System Tray (the bar near the clock and date). After double-clicking the left mouse button, the Lightpacks begin to work. To enter setup options, click the right mouse button and select
Settings.
The device is also supported by the AmbiBox Software (which you can find in our downloads site). It is a very good software for advanced users.

The software allows you to work in several modes:
transfer colours from the particular screen areas to AmbiBox and display light on back
all LEDs depend on the predominant colour on the screen,
continuous and fluent colour changing (Mood Lamps),
constant colour for all LEDs.
You can also define the requirements corresponding to brightness, gamma correction, frame rate and threshold. The software analyses the image on your monitor and transfers data by USB to the AmbiBox board.
Thanks to open API, you can customize AmbiBox to your liking and use or design your own plug-ins to create an original light show or add a new functionality. The device comes with a few plug-ins included, such as
blinking the LED lights for an e-mail, phone, or message notification.
